A strange session soundscape by two artists: ALAN COURTIS, bandleader of the legendary Argentine group REYNOLS, who has been active since the mid-'90s with an indescribable musical approach spanning sound art to avant-garde, lo-fi to psychedelia, an elusive presence, and a vast output of CD-Rs and cassettes; and AARON MOORE, the British drummer now based in New York, formerly of the tribal noise quartet VOLCANO THE BEAR, which also featured DANIEL PADDEN (active on 〈DEKORDER〉 and elsewhere). The two first recorded free-form masses of sound in London—noise, down-tuned acoustic guitar, vibraphone, prepared piano, etc.—then each took the material home and layered their own blends onto it, resulting in a highly artistic sound-happening work.
