The latest EP from CAVERN OF ANTI-MATTER, the project helmed by Stereolab's Tim Gane, is out now — following a stunning debut album that was a sprawling, euphoric psychedelic groove epic of krautrock-cosmic, human-played dance music with a one-of-a-kind sense of balance. As you'd expect, it's a recommended record with immediate dancefloor impact.

A miniature-garden gem of krautrock-cosmic sensibility — cute and lovely, cheap-rhythm-machine, human-played electronica-crossover disco dub — that also lets you feel that unmistakable Stereolab touch. The way A1 "I'm the unknown" (sample 1) unfolds in its second half is cute and really hits the spot. B1 "forest of drums" (sample 2), a rhythm-machine forest bath, is equally stunning. B2 "traces" (sample 3), pastoral electronic minimalism, is beautiful too — three fully satisfying tracks in all. (Original Japanese text by COMPUMA)
