PEOPLES POTENTIAL UNLIMITED presents a reissue featuring rare, previously unreleased tracks from FREEWAY, an ’80s U.S. Northwest funk/AOR boogie band! This includes tracks from their debut single on the local label *NEBULA CIRCLE RECORDS*—which also released NU SHOOZ during their Oregon days—as well as songs from their only album, *Non-Stop*, which fetched nearly 100,000 on eBay; however, it’s unclear whether these are the same takes. From MARK J’s electric piano and shimmering, enchanting vocals seep a crystal-clear soundscape—synths, guitars, and the mellow “No More” lead the way in this 80s boogie/sweet AOR funk.
