PEOPLES POTENTIAL UNLIMITED presents a reissue featuring rare, previously unreleased tracks from FREEWAY, an ’80s U.S. Northwest funk/AOR boogie band! This includes tracks from their debut single on the local label NEBULA CIRCLE RECORDS—which also released NU SHOOZ during their Oregon days—as well as songs from their only album, Non-Stop, which fetched nearly 100,000 on eBay; however, it’s unclear whether these are the same takes. From MARK J’s electric piano and shimmering, enchanting vocals seep a crystal-clear soundscape—synths, guitars, and the mellow “No More” lead the way in this 80s boogie/sweet AOR funk.
