Approximately 40 years after its original release, this record—which collectors around the world have been desperately searching for—has finally been reissued on vinyl. The lineup features Shigeru Suzuki on guitar, Haruomi Hosono on bass, Pecker on percussion, and Masaki Ueda on background vocals. Utilizing a Yamaha CS-80, Korg synthesizers, a Mini Moog, a Poly Moog, a Yamaha CS-30, a Clavinet, a Fender Rhodes, acoustic piano, and more. The eight tracks comprise a one-of-a-kind crossover experiment that blends the New Age utopian worldview of Eastern philosophy from that era with grooves inspired by East Asia, Africa, and Latin America, as well as world music, fusion, city pop, and the Japanese language. The cover artwork, which appears to be influenced by Dick Hyman, adds a charming touch. (The sample audio contains tape noise.
