This 7-inch collects two tracks originally featured on "Walkin' After Midnight," the synth-pop compilation released on ST GERMAIN RECORDS in 1982. OCCIDENTAL WHITE are an obscure band with no other known releases, but learning that FRÉDÉRIC WALHEERA, one of the founders of SUB ROSA, was among the members makes their impeccable taste make a lot more sense. Strip away the vocals and the backing synths on the A-side and you've got a seriously cool minimal industrial track — and yet the vocals only enhance the song further, striking a wonderful balance!
