Inspired by Howlround's (Robin the Fog) first performance at "The Winter Solstice Soundscapes" festival in Carlisle, Cumbria, in the far northwest of England — also his hometown — these four tracks of spirited, fresh "Tapeloop Techno" were created entirely in one take using nothing but two 1/4-inch reel-to-reel tape machines and a single microphone, all by hand in purely analog fashion.
