A new single from CESAR TORIBIO, a Dominican-American producer and Berklee College of Music graduate, is out now on 〈THE JAZZ DIARIES〉, the label run by Indian producer JITWAM—who was featured on MOODYMANN’s “DJ-KICKS”! Drawing on his Afro-Cuban roots〜 Latin rhythms—which are also his roots—and B-boy culture, such as “Get Up” (sample 1), as well as the originality of “Make Your Mark” (sample 2), which is enveloped in bouncy merengue percussion with a backbeat and restrained synths, is supported by his friend LOUIE VGA! This release also includes a remix of “Make Your Mark” by Atlanta’s talented BYRON THE AQUARIUS: “Make Your Mark (Byron The Aquarius Midnight Dub Mix)” (sample 3)!
