A new single from ELUIZE, the solo alias of Adelaide-born female producer EMMA SAINSBURY, who works across a wide range of contexts with a multi-faceted sensibility — including CA$HMINUS, her unit with GRATTS of the 〈ENSEMBLE〉 label, which released a remix of AKSAK MABOUL's "Saure Gurke." Five tracks in all, showcasing dance material with a depth that differs from the label's usual color: the title track "She Only Counts to Eight" (sample1), a proto-trance cut built on a purely kinetic modular web that returns to oriental, exotic melody, and "Be Easy" (sample2), a tribal-minimal piece that somehow evokes Middle Eastern mysticism.
