Featuring SASCHA FUNKE & EVA GEIST! SORDID SOUND SYSTEM—a project by Glasgow veteran STUART EVANS—releases a new EP via his home label, INVISIBLE, INC.! This time, the keyboards are even more melodic. The tracks range from ethereal, slow-moving cosmic boogie to celebratory psychedelic tribal disco. We’ve even received a shout-out from ANDREW WEATHERALL!
“Sordid business! Top notch as ever” (Andrew Weatherall / A Love From Outer Space / Rotter's Golf Club)
“Amazing” (Mr TC / Optimo Music / Hard Fist / Phase Group)
“Super nice as usual” (Alexis Le-Tan / Idle Press / Bahnsteig 23)
“Love it” (Dreems / Multi Culti / Malka Tuti)
“Nice stuff!” (DJ soFa / Elsewhere / Emotional Response / Kalahari Oyster Cult)

A2 is a danceable remix by SASCHA FUNKE, the flagship genius of 〈BPITCH CONTROL〉, who speeds up the tempo of A1 “Cape Perpetua”—a track featuring mystical arpeggios cascading over a slow tribal rhythm—to create a danceable version. A track that blends progressive guitar with danceable percussion, creating an ethno-disco sound “It’s About Time,” and the tribal boogie “See You On The Other Side,” featuring the disorienting whisper vocals of the talented EVA GEIST—who has released works on 〈MACADAM MAMBO〉—make this a richly varied release within the psychedelic/ethnic genre.
