A neutral sound born in the transitional period between movements — from '70s post-punk/krautrock to '90s ambient/drone. A collection of vault recordings from "ORIOR," the project of artist JEFF SHARP, unearthed by the two members of DEMDIKE STARE themselves, who openly credit him as a major influence on their own music.
Track List

Newly unearthed vault material from ORIOR, whose recordings were previously pressed to vinyl by 〈DDS〉 in 2016. Where that earlier reissue focused on his early work, this set gathers the overlooked '80s productions through to the '90s. It runs from the drum machine–driven post-punk/new wave of "Feels Like Summer" (sample1), to "Invium" (sample2), which still uses a drum machine but shifts into guitar-and-synth drone/krautrock territory, and finally arrives at the electronics/ambient of "Larbico Alt Mix" (sample3). A compilation that captures not only ORIOR as an individual artist, but the changing of eras itself. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
