LEGOWELT, a veteran creator from The Hague who has established a solid reputation as a pioneer of RAW techno and a charismatic figure in hardware-based sound, is releasing a remastered and analog reissue of “Schaduw Horizon”—originally released on CD-R in 2008 under his alias SAMMY OSMO! Synth/spywave music set against the fictional backdrop of a “zoo abandoned during the Cold War.”

The original was released on his own label, *STRANGE LIFE RECORDS*, and was later reissued on cassette and as a digital download in 2018. This time, however, the post-industrial/ electronic outlier *UTTER*—which also features O YUKI CONJUGATE and DMX KREW—is releasing its first-ever vinyl reissue! Imagining characters such as “a chimpanzee and a Siamese cat possessing extrasensory perception, and the NATO animal parapsychologist studying them,” the album uses Kosmische/ early electronic-style synthesizers to craft sci-fi cinematic melodies, setting a distinct narrative for each track.
