XTAL is a DJ/track maker also known as a member of TRAKS BOYS, (((Sarawund))) and JINTANA & EMERALDS. Sparking major buzz since its digital release in May 2020, this album is an ambitious work unfolding a progressive, lo-fi IDM sound quite apart from his previous Balearic house or city pop-flavored vocal-track direction. Though experimental in nature — beats are eliminated across the entire album — the catchy melodies that occasionally peek through lend it an outstanding pop sensibility, making for a masterpiece with an exquisite sense of balance.
