The momentous first release from TROOP MUSIC WORKS, the label launched with great anticipation by TROOPCAFE, the long-running Kobe club that has been sending quality music out to the world!
Troop music worksの待望の初リリース作品はDUCTとTELLYによるサンプリングとリズムマシン、躍動するロウなセッション。
今回はA面に6曲、B面に5曲 オリジナルトラックを収録しています。
これらをすべて20分づつセッションした作品です。
※商品はカセットテープになります。
This is a lively original work using sampling and rhythm machines.
This time, 6 songs are recorded on the A side and 5 songs are recorded on the B side. We did all of these sessions and had a 20minute live set.

TELLY (Masafumi Onishi / Troop Music Works | JP)
神戸Troop Music Worksのプロデューサー / DJ。
21年間続き、惜しまれつつも閉店したtroopcafeを約8年間マネージメントし、シーンに大きく貢献する。 DJにおいては、近年エレクトロニック・ミュージックの枠に止まらず、アフロ・グルーヴやハウス、ディスコとのクロスオーバーが加速し、さらにグルーヴ感が増している。
2014年からは、クラブの枠を超え、海外のアート・フェスティバルにも参加するようになる。 オランダ発の国際アート展 “TodaysArt”には、2014年、神戸と開催地デン・ハーグを高速インターネット回 線で繋ぎ、地元神戸に居ながら、 オランダ現地のフロアを沸かせたことは、今なお、TodaysArtの歴史の中で語り草になっている。
2015年のTodaysArt.JP東京開催では、恵比寿リキッドルームにて、Carl Craig feat. Mad Mike Banksライ ブ・セットとの共演が話題となった。
ここ最近ではレーベルの始動や、デトロイト、メキシコ、インドネシアやアジア諸国でもプレイし、活動の幅を広げている。

A session work by two figures: turntablist DJ DUCT, whose "Backyard Edit" series of edit works on his own label THINKREC. has won acclaim at home and abroad, and TELLY, the head of the sorely missed, now-closed veteran Kobe club TROOPCAFE, whose aesthetic sense and booking earned the trust not only of the local scene but of guests from overseas as well! Drawing on the feedback of these two men and their wide-ranging backgrounds, sampling is extracted freely in every direction, with intuitive effects and cut-ups bursting with live energy — a magnetic beat session on 3.81mm magnetic tape, playable in auto-reverse!
