JAMIRE WILLIAMS—who has contributed to works by Solange, Moses Sumney, Blood Orange, and others, and has delivered breathtaking performances in countless live shows alongside artists ranging from Pat Metheny to the Robert Glasper Trio, establishing himself as a dominant force in today’s jazz scene—has created an artistic work that seems to explore his deep love for music, an artistic work that poetically and deeply reflects on a spiritual, monochromatic, yet serene, soulful, and emotional universe of introspection. Transcending the boundaries of a drummer, he has pursued his musicality as a composer and producer, creating a challenging work that is at once jazz, hip-hop, R&B soul, and introspective avant-garde. The tracks flow organically into one another. 160g heavyweight black vinyl LP featuring 12 tracks, a 4-page booklet, an inner sleeve, and a cardboard jacket with an obi strip.
