Teaming up with SOTA — who debuted on the UK deep house camp 〈ORNATE MUSIC〉 and has passed through key minimal outposts like France's 〈DAYDREAM〉 and Amsterdam's 〈UP THE STUSS〉 — the pair embarked on lengthy studio sessions in the midst of lockdown. The bulk of the album is the minimal/tech house they do best, from the fat, undulating bassline of "What Not" (sample1) to the lyrical use of modern organ synths on "Done Deal" (sample2), but with rave breaks and downtempo cuts in the mix, it's an album with genre reach broad enough to fit any scene.
