A new project from 〈APRON〉, the independent label that since its 2014 launch has carved out its own path in the UK's contemporary electronic music scene while linking up with the West Coast! Alongside the label's familiar roster, numerous artists from the Tokyo/London connection 〈NCA〉 take part. Highlights include "Candy Floss," a breakbeat cut from SHY ONE, London's much-hyped rising star who has released on 〈EGLO〉, and SHAMOS's "737363," where shuffling rhythms mesh with intoxicating synthesis. There's also "E46," on which label boss STEVEN JULIEN sets drum breaks in motion.
