The first release from the Berlin-based label *Cosmic Romance*. An EP rooted in the sounds of the mid-’80s French underground, such as zouk and boogie. The highlight is “Pourqoui” (sample_2), a cover of Carly Simon’s “Why”—produced by everyone’s favorite Chic—which retains the original’s Balearic reggae vibe while giving it a modern update.
