The second installment of "The Globeflower Masters," a homage series to the classic soundtrack composers of the '60s and '70s, from Brighton, UK-based musicians Glenn Fallows (The Impellers / Andres y Xavi) and Mark Treffel (Blue States / The Soul Steppers).

This time around they cite Stefano Torossi, David Shire, and Roger Webb as key inspirations, making for a slightly edgier, more mature-sounding sequel. Drawing on European film soundtracks, the arrangements, melodies, and harmonies are more polished than ever. Like its predecessor, this one somehow just suits the winter season.
