Recorded in the summer of 2020, this album is the fruit of a rewarding collaboration between Brighton-based musicians Glenn Fallows (The Impellers / Andres y Xavi) and Mark Treffel (Blue States / The Soul Steppers). The Globeflower Masters project grew out of Glenn's idea to make an album shaped by the soundtrack and library composers of the late '60s and early '70s in particular. With those influences worn proudly on its sleeve and a generous helping of strings and classical instrumentation, the result is a fresh, warm, timeless record — one that should lend a dramatic touch to the crisp air of the season ahead.
