A new album from keyboardist HENRY KEEN, who made waves when JAN SCHULTE (also known for his BUFIMAN alias) remixed a track by SOUNDSPECIES, his unit with real-life brother OLIVER KEEN. Highlights include "Dexter's Breakfast," an electronic funk session with saxophonist BEN HADWEN, and "Make It With Love" (sample2), experimental jazz laced with Afro percussion. Add "Digging In Detroit" (sample1), a broken beat cut collaging chopped-up samples over jazz keys and a funk bassline, and you have UK modern jazz guided by deft keyboard work.
