URBS is a talented Austrian producer whose home-country credits span film scores, commercials and documentary music through to hip-hop and remixes. Here he delivers eleven tracks of leftfield, soft-psychedelic downtempo electronica — imaginary, dreamy and fantastically guided by storytelling, with an alternative, dramatic nostalgia — bursting with a European progressive jazz aesthetic that evokes the phantom soundtrack to an imaginary animated sci-fi film, calling to mind experimental animation classics like "Fantastic Planet."
