A reissue of the debut album by AXOLOTL, the maverick contemporary trio born out of the improvised concert series held regularly on the late-1970s French new music scene. Originally released in 1981 on 〈d'Avantage〉, the label run by JAC BERROCAL. Pushing improvisational experimentation to its limits while cutting across no wave and punk, it's a hidden gem that achieves expression at once liberated and direct.

From 〈SOUFFLE CONTINU〉, the label steadily reissuing cutting-edge '60s-'70s jazz and French jazz! The debut album from AXOLOTL (named after the Mexican salamander), a trio project centered on horn player ETIENNE BRUNET, whose name also resounds through the 〈SARAVAH〉 catalogue.
