A reissue of the single cut from the sole album by BETTY & THE CODE RED, a group born in Nigeria that relocated via Italy to the United States, expanded here with previously unreleased material. Earthy lo-fi sound built from percussion and analog gear.

Rare recordings from BETTY & THE CODE RED reissued! Formed around TUNDE OBAZEE, born in Benin, Nigeria, and his girlfriend BETTY AJAGUN, the band pursued music as a nonviolent tool for expressing political views. Rooted in the Nigerian music of their homeland, they crafted electronic boogie using the then relatively new analog gear they picked up abroad, including the YAMAHA RX7 and DX7. Bewitching sound where Afro-tribal innocence meets a left-field spirit. Remastered reissue with previously unreleased tracks added! (Original Japanese text by Akie)
