From Sound Signature, led by Theo Parrish, comes “Brutus,” the new album by Specter—who continues to be based in Chicago’s Tetrode Music and has joined the Sound Signature family. The title refers to the “birth,” “spirit,” “death,” and “ascension” of his beloved dog, “Brutus,” as depicted in the four tracks. The release is now available on vinyl, cassette, and CD.

Following their release on Croatia’s *Forbidden Dance*, Sound Signature presents “Brutus,” their second full-length album. The vinyl features four new tracks, while the cassette and CD versions also include the singles previously released by Sound Signature. Pure machine music. Hardware dance music. The pleasure of raw tones, a stripped-down deep groove. A sonic journey. Although the vinyl includes two tracks running just over 10 minutes each, it’s a luxurious release with four tracks—one per side. The lustrous texture is unique to analog.
