HUMAN SPACE MACHINE is a crew member of DE LICHTING, a joint project between three Amsterdam underground house/techno labels. "Newendam" (sample1) pairs melodically bouncing acid bass with the pleasing bite of sharp hats. "Mopo" (sample2) gradually digitizes and crescendos into a blissed-out climax. "Arp" rocks the groove with syncopation. The elasticity of the low end and the hypnotic pull of the 303 are skillfully blended throughout. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
