Following his acclaimed 2023 breakout album "Erotic Probiotic 2," Nourished By Time delivers his debut EP for XL Recordings. Written at his home studio in Baltimore between 2022 and 2023, "Catching Chickens" takes its name from the film "Rocky" — specifically the iconic scene in which Rocky's trainer has him chase down a flock of chickens to test his agility. The debut EP includes tracks like "Hell of a Ride," on which Nourished By Time reflects on the collapse of the American empire and the loneliness of late capitalism, and "Hand on Me," which traces the paranoia born of mistrust in a post-traumatic world.
