This album collects three versions of "Mysteries," a gorgeous ensemble piece that weaves classical string and piano melodies together with the repetitions and shimmering fluctuations of electric piano. The second half, "On Muted Strings," features five dramatic ensemble recordings for piano and violin — mysterious, with a faintly strange air about them.
