The rhythm section blends the alluring phrases and exotic vocals of the “saz”—a traditional Turkish guitar with an oriental tone reminiscent of the sitar—with the “BIG CROWN”-style boom bap, hip-hop, and soulful performances. The production is a must-hear for fans of ’90s hip-hop and beats in the Native Tongue vein. Naturally, it’s produced by label head Leon Michels.
