Dreamy with a trace of psychedelia, as if mirroring millennial ennui and escapism. A 2000 classic that still lingers in the hearts of indie rock, bedroom-recording, and electronica fans. Her Space Holiday — the solo project of California's Marc Bianchi, a veteran of hardcore bands — sees its debut album "Home Is Where You Hang Yourself" ('00) reissued by NUMERO GROUP as a Y2K 25th anniversary edition!

Leaving behind emo/post-hardcore bands like Indian Summer and Calm, Marc Bianchi switched on a 4-track recorder all by himself. Born in a bedroom in San Mateo, California, where he spent his boyhood, this record evokes something of the ennui, escapism, restlessness, and devil-may-care mentality of the millennial generation of the time — faint noise humming in the distance, reversed tape, melancholy guitars, and meticulously built layers you sink deeper into with every listen. This 20th anniversary edition newly includes a meditative remix (sample_3) by Duster, the cult 90s indie band also reissued by Numero, plus remixes by Bright Eyes, Micromars, and Mahogany. Presented as a 2LP in a gatefold jacket with lyrics printed on the inner sleeve for full immersion. (Original Japanese text by AYAM)
