Most of the recordings were made using the four-channel surround sound system inside a massive fuel tank (Espacio Cultural El Tanque) on the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands—now a cultural facility—while some were recorded outdoors with the participation of their labelmates, the tropical group Lagoss. Built upon Carlos Godinho’s multinational percussion performances—which incorporate natural objects and scrap materials—and Mestre André’s electronic processing, the album consists of stripped-down, concise tracks that eschew excessive overdubs, alongside an imaginative soundscape woven between reality and fiction. It evokes a collective dream of a tropical island. (Original Japanese text by Adachi)
