Following his intriguing 2020 album on iDEAL dedicated to experimental music master James Denny, the gifted Reece Cox returns with a long-awaited new album: an ambient, downtempo soundtrack record created for sculptor/artist Liza Lacroix's solo exhibitions held in Germany and New York. Released by the venerable Cologne art gallery Galerie Gisela Capitain.

Reece Cox composed a 90-minute soundtrack for Liza Lacroix's two solo exhibitions held at Neue Galerie Gladbeck in Germany in 2024, and for the solo show that followed shortly after at Magenta Plains in New York. Using piano, synthesizer, bass, percussion, guitar, electronics and collage, he mixed new compositions with previously unreleased sound material to rebuild it all into an album — a serene, Shangri-La-like presence that even evokes a Japanese sense of "wa," with 10 tracks of melancholic ambient/downtempo that stir up a strangely nostalgic feeling. Includes a bi-fold art sheet poster measuring roughly 600mm x 600mm. Artwork by Liza Lacroix. Currently a physical vinyl-only release. (Original Japanese text by COMPUMA)
