A new release from “3XL,” the sub-label of 〈EXPERIENCES LTD.〉—which brings together contemporary electronic music artists such as “XPHRESH” (a collaboration between label owner SPECIAL GUEST DJ and BEN BONDY) and EXAEL! A project featuring Milan-based bass music scientist PIEZO, along with OOZE/XÀR NUM and AITCH, releases its debut album. It skillfully blends precisius beats rooted in rhythmic noise electronics with fantastically beautiful neo-New Age synthesis, Tracks like “Sometimes Colours Are Cool” (sample 1) and the mutant electronic dub “Post Deco Dub” (sample 2) represent an experimental fusion of the cutting-edge elements of contemporary rave sounds—such as breaks and glitch—with the aesthetic beauty of chill space.
