The second release from the Berlin-based, mysteriously operating 〈THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO VICTOR〉, again from label head TRO. "Sauna of Bitch" (sample2) reins in a driving, heavy bottom end while tracing an emotional, melodic acid synth line. "Lost in Tres Leches" (sample1), a trippy minimal groover with game-SE-like electronic blips flying around, gets a surprisingly deep and warm house rework from LOS PRIMOS, the Toronto-based unit of heavy hitters COSMIC JD and AARON SANTOS — and it's a great one.
