Moorea Masa is a singer with a crisp, commanding voice who has lent backing vocals and guest appearances to countless artists' records, including Mocky. Together with Tommaso Cappellato — known for his own band Collettivo Immaginario 〈Space Grapes〉 and his work as an acclaimed support drummer/producer — and Steve Watkins, these three already highly regarded Los Angeles talents have joined forces for a new project that can only bode well. "Rosmarina" (sample 1) is loaded with boogie charm: a catchy guitar riff, cute Italian-language vocals, a groovy, singing bassline and zippy synths, with an instrumental version (sample 2) on the B-side.
