Jonathan Kaspar — a leading light of Cologne techno institution KOMPAKT, known for releases on Crosstown Rebels, Pets Recordings, Ouie and more — returns with the long-awaited new EP "Time," out on These Eyes, the aesthete tech-house imprint helmed by the returning Andre Hommen. It's his third release for the label, his first in six years.

Here he takes a bold step forward, holding onto his signature groove while exploring a more unconventional, irregular sound across three tracks.
A1 "time" (sample1) is European aesthete electro-tech at 122 BPM, with striking, dreamlike trick effects; A2 "the last time i have seen her" (sample2) is dark European electro-tech at 121 BPM, a two-part piece that leads you into a storytelling labyrinth; and B1 "where are you" (sample3) is his first ambient track, offering a glimpse of his introspective side.
