In stock — an album generating buzz for its stellar guest list, including PHEW, REGIS, and JUSTIN K BROADRICK! MICROCORPS, the project of ALEXANDER TUCKER, who has been active in the hardcore-to-experimental-electronics scene since the early '90s, drops a full-length on 〈DOWNWARDS〉. Industrial beats and tricky rhythms. A sound with a neo-gothic flair that weaves emotion into its aggression.

Starting his career as vocalist of the post-rock/hardcore band "Unhome," and following its 1999 breakup remaining active in the experimental electronic and improvised music scenes through various collaborations with the likes of STEPHEN O'MALLEY, maverick ALEXANDER TUCKER delivers a new work from his main project via the venerable 〈DOWNWARDS〉. From "FOLDED," where beautiful vocals layer over polymetric machine beats, to "VAV," a slab of industrial broken techno showered in hallucinatory choirs, it's a world where aggression and aestheticism coexist. On "SANSU," featuring Japan's own legend PHEW, he unveils cyber-romantic electronics that ascend through a crescendoing arrangement. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
