In the 1960s, Netinho was the drummer for the Clevers, one of the leading Brazilian beat bands, and later in the 1970s he was active in Casa das Máquinas, which pursued a heavier, more psychedelic sound. In the same year, Netinho was influenced by the spiritual group Amor e Caridade and headed in a new direction, releasing his first album, "Apartamento 97" ('80), on his own label, Manancial do Amor, in 1982. - He further developed his funky, pop-rock style with the help of talented musicians such as Zé Rodrix, Faísca, and Manito.
Netinho says he spent a year searching for inspiration for the sequel album. After a "mystical intervention," the songs for the album were completed in just two days.
The lyrics celebrate the beauty of a Sunday afternoon after a week of work, and the happy, slightly crazy mood and tight sound make this a one-of-a-kind song.
