Dalmata Daniel - Cat No: DDS10
- updated:2026-01-11
Heavyweight EBM percussion, distorted basslines, and grinding low end drive this hypnotic techno ritual. A powerful split EP from Athens maverick ANATOLIAN WEAPONS and rising Amsterdam electro talent THE SPY has arrived! A record rooted in the depths of the dancefloor, raw electro, and post-punk energy.
Track List

From Budapest-based 〈DALMATA DANIEL〉, a label exploring industrial through raw techno! ANATOLIAN WEAPONS — whose recent tie-up with 〈SOUND METAPHORS〉 has been well received, and who moves freely from EBM to krautrock to trance while staying resolutely his own — opens with "Trapped," a technoid trance cut that drags you deep into the swamp with mechanical tones and minimal acid chains. THE SPY, who drew attention with work on ELENA COLOMBI's 〈OSÀRE.EDITION〉, delivers "Same Blur," weaving cosmic high-register synths into a sharp electro format. Two different approaches, yet both share disorienting loop techniques and dark sound design that throw the floor off its bearings. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
