The latest work from 〈SUNNY CRYPT〉, the label behind the reissue of pioneering French IDM unit "LES DUPONT"! A remastered reissue of the debut EP by M.S.B., the electronic project uniting SAVERIO EVANGELISTA — core member of ESPLENDOR GEOMÉTRICO, the industrial band with a cult following since 1990 — and MAURIZIO MARTINUCCI, who has also been part of the Sheffield-born art project CLOCK DVA (2010–). From "Heart Thinks Wide" (sample1), carving out knotty broken rhythms against a dreamy, phantasmal synthscape, to "Rio Blank" (sample2), driving a sturdy four-four through polyrhythmic tribal percussion, these are leftfield techno works whose mutant, ever-shifting rhythms coax the subconscious awake.
