This re-recording album feels like a natural extension of their previous work, *A La Sala*—not through remixes or lavish arrangements, but by maturing a decade’s worth of their playing, timing, and tone in the Khruangbin style and giving them a modern update.
While retaining the original’s minimalist, ethereal, exotic, and psychedelic groove, the album is now more jazzy, moody, and deeply bluesy—a journey of self-reflection into one’s inner universe. It evokes a state where nothing happens—a kind of Zen-like spirituality—with a simple, understated charm and a more natural sense of comfort. A quiet, rich masterpiece has been born that allows you to fully enjoy the silences between the notes and fully conveys Khruangbin’s current state of mind. (Original Japanese text by COMPUMA)
