A new release from FILIPPO BOLOGNA, head of the "616 LAB" laboratory, on 〈TWIG〉 — the Barcelona 〈SEEKERS〉 sublabel that's been on a roll with O'FORTYFOUR and NICOLA FACCHINERI. "cirklonauta" (sample1) is a heavyweight acid groover with bass and synths chasing each other groovily. "dimension d" (sample2) is a minimal electro-funk cut set against synthesis that glows with an almost church-music mysticism. Recorded entirely to tape for a raw sound image and true acid texture.
