Built around gospel fusion, the record weaves in dancefloor-ready cuts for a wide-ranging sound. Their outstanding, ahead-of-its-time musicality is on full display here, with funky grooves sitting alongside spiritual ballads and melodies and harmonies that shine throughout. Known only to a handful of collectors until now, this one was brought back into the light by Tone B. Nimble, the legendary DJ active in Chicago since the mid-1980s.
