An artist named DREAM SONIC RESEARCH has launched a self-run label and released its first release—the content is fantastic. From the 303 acid workout “Eternal Horizons” (sample 1), which incorporates deep ambient techno textures, to the rave disco track “Alchemic” (sample 2)—where an ’80s-style snare takes center stage—and “Bleep Systems” (sample 3), which blends basslines from the Italian progressive lineage with UK breaks.
