We’ve just received a 3-track CD, carefully produced by HANKYOVAIN’s “Vain-do,” featuring works by MIGURA—the Nagano-born Japanese producer Yoshiki Tsuchiya—who has made a name for himself both domestically and internationally through releases such as Anton Zap’s *Ethereal Sound* and Chez Damier’s *Balance*. This release, VD3003, is a conceptual EP specially produced for VAIN-do by MIRUGA, a DJ and producer who primarily releases his work on overseas labels.
Starting with the deep dance track “Sunyata,” the EP also features the beatless tracks “Earlity” and “Local Train Illusion.”
It’s the perfect EP to accompany those solitary moments spent lost in thought. (From the press release)
-MIRUGA-
A producer and DJ who has been releasing music on domestic and international labels since the early 2010s.
He has left his mark on labels with deep catalogs, such as Moods & Grooves, Treasure Box, Ethereal Sound, and Altered Moods.
After a pilgrimage to the three holy sites of American house music and a long hiatus, he co-founded the label EHS Recordings with Imugem Orihasam in 2024, expanding his horizons for production and release.
In recent years, he has been quietly exploring new directions through zazen meditation and digging for records.
