Momoko Gill—an artist, songwriter, producer, drummer, and multi-instrumentalist whose album *Clay* with Matthew Herbert was also fantastic—has released her first solo album, *Momoko*, on Strut Records!! A masterpiece has been born. I highly recommend this album. *Please note that the album cover has minor wear on the corners. We appreciate your understanding when purchasing this item. We have discounted the price slightly.
Track List

A masterpiece has been born: a jazzy singer-songwriter album brimming with a unique, fresh, dignified, and rich musicality—one that could be described as “dreamy and delicate singer-songwriter electronica ambient jazz.” The balance between experimentalism and the elegant sophistication of her songwriting is subtly superb and truly wonderful. Along with the double-page spread of liner notes featuring lyrics and recording photos, the jacket artwork and design are exceptionally beautiful, exuding an overwhelming presence that makes this a record sleeve you’ll want to display. I highly recommend this album.
A self-taught musician, Momoko Gill has showcased her uniquely original worldview through collaborations as a drummer, producer, songwriter, and vocalist with artists such as Alabaster DePlume, Matthew Herbert, Coby Sey, Tirzah, and others. Having been active in the UK electronic/ jazz scene for many years, has finally completed her long-awaited solo album. Produced by Momoko Gill herself, recorded at Total Refreshment Centre, mixed by Matthew Herbert, and mastered by Alex Gordon at Abbey Road Studios, the album features 11 tracks. It’s a beloved gem that transcends genres and is sure to be enjoyed for years to come. (Original Japanese text by COMPUMA)
