A prodigy who even Apex Twin fell in love with, a pioneer of electronic-acoustic bands who exudes a unique presence at the intersection of electronic music and experimental guitar music and had a major influence on the birth of post-rock— London-based Seefeel—a pioneer of the electro-acoustic scene whose unique presence at the intersection of electronic music and experimental guitar music captivated even Aphex Twin and played a major role in the birth of post-rock—has released “Sol.Hz,” their first new album in 15 years, via Warp Records! We’ve stocked this masterpiece from the masters of ambient, shoegaze, and techno.

Formed in London in 1992, the band initially produced a shoegaze sound reminiscent of My Bloody Valentine and Spacemen 3, but gradually shifted toward electronic music—partly due to Aphex Twin, who was a self-proclaimed huge fan of the band at the time, providing a remix of their early track “Time To Find Me.” Known for their unique style that fuses elements of indie rock and ambient techno—a sound that generated significant buzz and led the British music magazine *The Wire* to label them as one of the bands pioneering “post-rock”—Seefeel has released their first new album in 15 years, *Sol.Hz*, on Warp Records. The album features nine tracks.
