Reggae has a tradition of remaking tracks (riddims) and passing them on, and one of its major attractions is its dynamic culture of using the same riddim and having multiple singers and DeeJays put different songs on it, creating many songs from a single riddim. Like other famous reggae riddims such as "SLENG TENG," "STALAG," "REAL ROCK," "ANSWER," and many others that continue to be remade, KEN KEN has taken the bass line pattern of Curtis Mayfield's "Tripping Out," which he can't help but respond to in an addictive way. KEN KEN has been selecting "tuttu tuttu tuttu" tunes so much that he sometimes performs DJ sets that are based on "tuttu tuttu tuttu" riddims, which he considers to be "riddims" in reggae. His love for the Tuttetsu Tuttetsu riddim bore fruit in the form of Urban Volcano Sounds' first single, "And Curtis is at a loss," released in 2016, and the 10-inch Vinyasa Vinyl released in 2021 on ARRROUNDWickedSoundMaker. The other was the mix CD "TUTTETTUTETTE MIX" that came with the 10-inch vinyl "l AmaiHitKouchie E.P." released by ARRROUNDWickedSoundMaker in 2021. It was a mix that only KEN KEN could have done, which combined reggae culture-derived "riddim interpretation" and urban volcano sounds (adult + urban feel), and it was too good to be a bonus, but because it was a bonus, it could have been a slightly unusual song selection... So, after 5 years since then, "TUTTETTUTTETTE MIX Vol.2" has been released as a stand-alone mix CD!

The mix is a mellow Latin mix.
Melodic Latin fusion/AOR~ Latest Brazilian inheriting Tropicália~Tropical & Balearic~ Lovely Organic Soul~ Modern Disco Boogie~ Hawaiian Rare Groove~ "Tripping Out" Urban SAX inst~ Tuttetttette DUB(!) ~The album is 53 minutes of urban soul mood and "Tutte Tutte Tutte" riddims that straddle genres from organic soul to modern disco boogie to Hawaiian rare grooves to the urban SAX inst. of "Tripping Out" to Jamaican jazz. The riddim gives the song a dancing feeling, a calm yet positive vibe, and a peaceful yet slightly bittersweet mood. But it's also a very Ken Ken-like mix, with its easygoing and quietly radical attitude of taking the bassline as a "riddim" and creating a mix based solely on that.
The songs are all top-notch, and the development is wonderful.
We hope you will enjoy this mix CD as well as the new song "Hill Saudade" by UVS, which is a part of the song "Tut Tut Tut".
The artwork by NONCHELEEE, which has the atmosphere of a "one-way album" (an omnibus album containing 10 different songs on one riddim) in dancehall reggae from the 80s onward (the color difference from Vol. 1 is also a good sign), is also a great finish.
