Henry Jenkins is a producer/engineer whose credits include Surprise Chef, Karate Boogaloo, and the Grammy-winning Frollen Music Library. Known for his sound that reimagines vintage funk〜soul with a modern recording aesthetic, he is a very important figure in Melbourne's instrumental scene as in-house engineer for College Of Knowledge Records.
The song "Missing" (sample_1) combines funk-like rhythm and film music lyricism, "Ten Cent Piece" (sample_2) has beautiful muted guitar grains and intertwining piano, and the melancholic waltz "Letting Down" (sample_3) is a particularly beautiful example of a guitar piece. (sample_3), a melancholic waltz, are particularly enjoyable, taking advantage of the arrangement of the guitars on the right, center, and left. A total of 12 songs spell out the arranging skills and sense of sound design that he has cultivated as a behind-the-scenes artist. (Original Japanese text by AYAM)
