Artisan producer Kiko Navaro from Majorca, Spain, has released a gem of an Afro-disco and boogie-soulful 7" featuring Dele Sosimi, an important figure known for his work with UK Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, and singer Lizzy Dosunmu. The 7-inch release is a masterpiece of Afro-disco and boogie-soul. Released on the prestigious Spanish label Lovemonk.

Lizzy Dosunmu and Dele Sosimi's call-and-response, chants, and Yoruba interjections are a superb collaboration, as is Side-A "Ijó Yá" (sample 1), a funky and groovy spark of mid-tempo afro-disco crossover at 112 BPM. The remix Side-B "Ijó Yá (Voilaaa Remix)" (sample 2) by Voilaaa, which takes Afro-soul New Jazz R&B jazz-funk-disco to a new level at around 120 BPM, is also nice.
