"Invasion of CHAOS" by JUDY, a young talent based in Kyoto, is... acid slow-motion stoner rock? A low-tempo, immersive psychedelic track. This track fully showcases the acid sound of the TB-303 and openly expresses the artist’s inner self—chaotic yet raging with raw intensity. The 33 RPM “screw” listening experience (sample 1) is also dopely psychedelic.
Beat construction based on a simple, rocking rhythm machine rhythm at around 100 BPM, a slow-tempo drum-and-bass beat, strangely chirpy acid electronic sounds, airport and in-flight announcements from a flight departing from a Dutch airport, Side AA “EHAM (1978)” (sample 2)—a trip-groove featuring a three-way mirror of perverse DIY sound ideas created with a cut-up collage sensibility—and the slow-speed charm of 33 RPM (sample 3).
